This sorbet is delicious. Rich in flavor but light and smooth in your mouth, fragrant and delicately spiced, it's unlike anything you'll ever find at your local grocery store.
Peach Sorbet
What You Need:
- 8 ripe peaches, pits removed (peeling is optional)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup apple juice
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- In your blender, puree all the ingredients until you're left with a smooth liquid. If you opt to leave the peels on, be sure the peels are tiny flecks in your blender.
- Process according to your ice cream maker's instructions. I use the ice cream attachment for my KitchenAid stand mixer and it took 20 minutes to freeze.
- Move to storage container, seal tightly, and freeze at least two hours longer before serving.

Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Jen! I hope you love it.
that looks tasty!
and i just made your strawberry lemonade a couple hours ago! can't wait to try it!
ooh that satrawberry lemonade is so fresh tasting! we love that around here. :o)
We just had peach ice cream but this sounds great!
I'm not a huge fan of peaches..don't be made, i love the flavor, just not the fruit itself.. silly, I know... but this sorbet looks and sounds wonderful! Think I might have to try it!
Love this recipe!! Sounds so refreshing! In 2 months when peaches are finally ripe here I'll make this :)
Jenn this is very peachy tasting...like fresh, summer sweet, perfumey peaches. So I wouldn't recommend trying it if you don't like the fruit. But you can do the same recipe with another fruit! Maybe some pears instead? :)
Andrea... Palisade Peaches!!! YUM!!! There was this one farmer who would bring cases of his peaches to sell at the Pueblo farmer's market. I would buy a case every week from him and we'd gobble them up all week. Those are the best.
So, you already know I made jam, per your recipe. I made the jam with pick-your-own-peaches at a local farm, and I have left overs. So ... I decided I wanted to make your peach sorbet. I bought the ice cream attachment for the mixer yesterday. It's been in the freezer, and I'll be making your peach sorbet tonight. Really looking forward to it. :) Again and again, thank you for all the inspiration!!
Hello, again. :) Made the sorbet, and it turned out great! Mine was a little darker then yours, and the flavor was pretty heavy on the spices. So, next time I think I'd chill out just a little on the spices and maybe add more honey. I just loved that this recipe was so natural. I bought apple juice that was not from concentrate, and everything else was just so pure. I felt great about making it and didn't feel an ounce of guilt while eating it. Thank you again for the inspiration!!
